Breathe. Today Is Going To Be Okay

mondaymotivationWhen you’re feeling overwhelmed we forget to breathe. So for today practice breathing in for a count of 4 and out for a count of 6. Making the exhale longer than the inhale will help you relax by sending a signal to your brain that that’s what you want to happen.
When we awaken in a state of panic or dread we can feel like today is going to be just like yesterday – awful. But we don’t know that for sure. We can’t predict the future, no one can. It’s okay to think you’re going to have a good day.
By thinking that, you’re not setting up some unforeseen disaster, in fact, you’re more likely to have a better day as you’re looking for the positive rather than the negative around you.
So for today, just remember to breathe, it’s going to be okay.
