Be the change you want to see in the world.


When we long for our world to change we can get so caught up in wanting the world and others to change first. We forget that the only control we have is over ourselves. We can change ourselves first and foremost which inevitably leads to changes in our world around us. Think of it this way: we are currently doing a waltz with the world around us, but if we change this to a tango, then the world can no longer dance with us if it doesn’t change. In order to fall back in sync with us, our world has to change.
