Not feeling our feelings can feel good for a short time. But over time we end up becoming numb, act out, overeat, obsess, or hiding away from the world. Be gentle with yourself if you have been doing any of these things. Don’t force yourself. But remember you can’t run away either, your feelings are still there and will find a way to come out. Let it be appropriately.
