Awareness is never just about seeing, it’s about using all our senses. We often only look with our eyes. The we project out our fears, hopes, past, present etc., instead of relaxing. By relaxing we begin to slow down and become more aware. How can we do this? Meditation will help us relax and slow down, but when we engage all our senses as well we cultivate our awareness more fully. So when you see a flower don’t just look, touch it, feel it, smell it also. When you meet a friend listen to them, feel their presence, be more present with them. Start to bring all of your senses into everything you do in your life.
