Setting goals is never a problem, keeping them up is. With the new year and the biggest goal setting time of the year coming up don’t set yourself up for failure this year.
Decide on 3 goals in 3 different areas of your life maximum. Then decide what baby steps you can take each month to do that. -I said baby steps, not giant leaps, that doesn’t work!
So break the goal down into one very small step that way it won’t feel daunting each month. Try to do that gaol at the beginning of the month, it will help you feel much better knowing you have already achieved what you set out to do.
An example of this is around self-care for the first month only tackle meditation, taking 10 minutes a day to relax, in the second-month tackle any sleep issues you have, then move onto basic self-care on the 3rd month and so on. By the end of the year, you will have changed how you tackle your self-care but you will have also changed a whole lot more in your life.
It Doesn’t Matter If You Take It Slow Just Don’t Stop
