I'm not talking about small amounts of worry here which is perfectly natural at times. I'm talking about the fear binding worry that keeps us trapped in fear and at times procrastination. It's created by our mind rather than what is actually happening. It creates pain and unnecessary anxiety that is far worse the reality of the situation we fear.
So how can you reduce that worry? In two ways, firstly by using some form of meditation and secondly by writing everything you worry about down in a daily journal.
Writing it down takes it out of your head and into the light of day. It allows you to examine it with perhaps some logical thought: Will this really happen? Have I dealt with this or something similar before? How did I overcome this before? What can I plan ahead to help me deal with this situation should it arise? What other questions could you ask yourself to help solve this for you?
So for today ask yourself: Do I have any unnecessary worry that is holding me back?
