When we hold on to our regrets about the past we can’t possibly be living for now. We can’t think with a clear head and make plans for the future. Letting go of regrets frees our mind and spirit and allows us to forgive ourselves and let go of any shame and guilt we may have. We now have a brighter future ahead of us as a result.
So today ask yourself: What am I holding onto? What is it I feel any shame or guilt about what I need to let go of? Can I forgive myself? Is my thinking about the past holding me back? Am I right in thinking I should feel guilty or is that someone else’s opinions stuck in my head? Whatever your answers don’t you think it’s time to let go of all those regrets and move on?
