Being grateful for what we already have in life, no matter how small or trivial it may seem, will increase the brain's activity around finding more blessings in our lives. So do you want more joy, then look for the sources of joy already in your life, make note of these daily. Again, do you want more hope in your life? Then you need to note down where you have hope already, and yes, you do have some hope. It could come from anywhere or anyone that is touching your life. Sometimes, we really need to stop and think about these things, as we get so caught up in our daily lives and perhaps all the negativity around us, we fail to see what is already there.
So let us begin by asking ourselves: Where can I find hope and joy already in my life?
