Having a positive thought about how you will spend your day is so important. It tells your brain that it’s going to be okay today. That we expect success and happiness and that it’s okay to think along those lines.
It’s how our “doing mind” or solution focused part of our brain works. It’s tireless efforts to find solutions is exactly why your mind goes on that washing machine spin cycle and can’t sleep or why you’re anxious all the time.
Taking time to remind your brain it’s okay today, it’s going to be wonderful in fact, reminds that part of the brain to “take a rest” combine this with about 20 minutes of meditation and daily journaling and your anxiety levels should reduce.
