Be proud of who you are and what you have overcome.


Being able to pat ourselves on the back is something most of us find hard to do. But we should. Why I hear you say? Well it raises your self-esteem for one & why not I say to you? If this were a friend, the first thing we do is congratulate them. So why not ourselves? Didn’t we do just as good of a job? Don’t we deserve the praise? I know most people have been brought up with the idea that “self praise is no praise”. Well I say to that poppycock. Self praise if everything. It’s part of loving yourself and feeling good about yourself. So the next time you achieve something, even something small, congratulate yourself you deserve it!
