Bringing Joy To Our Lives Is Simple. Smile at strangers you meet, make eye contact. Write down 3 things you’re grateful for in your life. Journal let all those feelings out and make a to-do list, it will give your brain a rest from having to remember everything. Do at least one thing you like to do every week. Reward yourself for a job well done but also give yourself treats that are just for being you. Rewards usual cost money but treats can be free or inexpensive. Talk to your friends, make a lunch/dinner dates with them once a week. It’s good to just sit, relax, laugh. Take a walk during lunch, it lets you get out of the office, take a break and gives your mind time to refuel for a more productive afternoon. Sleep! Meditate! Turn off social media at least an hour before bed. All of these help to bring us joy and remind ourselves we deserve to be looked after.
