Be Open To Self-Acceptance DBpsychology 1 We can have good self-esteem in one area of our life and none in another. We may feel lacking in that area of our lives. Look at that area, how do you feel? What do you see as your deficiency in this area? Can you work on or improve something? Do you actually have a deficiency at all or are you being too hard on yourself? Is the situation impossible? In all cases be open to self-acceptance. Don’t shut this down, as it will help you see that although you might want to work on or improve your life you are still okay just as you are.
