Expectations can be silent demands. We can feel uncomfortable when we don’t meet those demands. We can feel ashamed, guilty, off balance and out of place. But what if we took a moment to examine these expectations. Are they reasonable? Are they just? Do they cut into our life, our wants, needs, etc,? Or are we giving up our goals, basic needs, to meet other’s expectations of us? Are these expectations controlling how we live our life? Isn’t it time to take back control and live the life you want instead?
