Stop using negative coping mechanisms that devalue who you are. Have you reviewed your self-esteem lately? Go back over past events, what happened? Were they painful? Did you give away your self-esteem to other people? Now is the time to reclaim this. Respond to life by using loving messages towards yourself and by upping your self-care instead. Write down positive messages you can say to yourself. Make a list of people in your life that support you in a positive way. So for today, what negative coping mechanism will you replace?
